BTK Expertise at Neftegaz Forum: Comfortable Workwear as a Practical Tool for Strengthening Industrial Safety Culture
The program featured presentations by more than 20 industry experts. Roman Frolov (Renera LLC, part of the Rosatom State Corporation) presented fully localized Russian energy storage systems. The company's solutions help reduce diesel fuel, repair, and maintenance costs, decrease the number of emergency power outages, and enhance the maneuverability of the power supply complex. The estimated payback period for such projects ranges from 1 to 5 years.
Ivan Krivenkov addressed the topic of solar energy. Power plants developed by Unigreen Energy LLC are currently deployed at facilities operated by Gazprom Neft PJSC, Lukoil PJSC, and SIBUR Holding PJSC, effectively resolving issues related to high electricity tariffs and fuel supply complexities. According to calculations, the implementation of such solutions pays off within 2 to 4 years, and over a ten-year horizon, it enables savings ranging from 130 million to 2.2 billion rubles.
Lyudmila Kalyuzhnaya, General Director of JSC PO Neftekhimmash, presented the enterprise's products, including storage tank equipment, filters, and solutions for heating oil and petroleum products. Special attention was given to the "Shadow" unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) protection system for refineries and other industrial facilities, which performs functions such as threat detection, confirmation, electronic warfare, and automated reporting.
The theme of industrial safety was further developed by Anton Solovyev (NVI AI Solutions LLC). Artificial intelligence-based video systems are utilized for monitoring cluster well sites, drilling, and well workover operations. Automated identification of safety violations allows for a 600-fold reduction in their occurrence, prevents accidents, shortens drilling timelines, and reduces both operational and capital expenditures.
Representatives of the BTK Group, Yulia Kiryushova and Ekaterina Petrichuk, highlighted the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as another critical aspect of industrial safety. They noted that the poor ergonomics of workwear creates obstacles to the conscious compliance of personnel with safety regulations. Therefore, the company's products are designed to simultaneously ensure safe and comfortable working conditions for production staff.
Nikolai Semenov (Irkutsk Tracked Vehicle Plant LLC) presented the MR-8 all-terrain vehicle, designed for the transportation of personnel and heavy cargo. Operational experience with the MR-8 in projects for Gazprom Neft PJSC and Surgutneftegas PJSC has confirmed its ability to ensure stable logistics in complex geographic and climatic conditions, while also facilitating further improvements to the vehicle's design. Calculations indicate that this solution is significantly more cost-effective than expensive helicopter transportation.
Logistics and personnel management issues were also addressed by Alena Valikaeva (Interservice LLC). For large enterprises, the company offers corporate passenger transportation services. Interservice has developed a "Client Service" platform that integrates the customer, the carrier, and the individual employee. This system optimizes route management, thereby contributing to more effective personnel and budget management for the enterprise.
Other speakers addressed topics related to digitalization, industrial safety, and modern domestic equipment. Delegates were also particularly engaged by reports on mini-refineries and the application of artificial intelligence in the oil and gas industry.
The forum also featured a networking session for suppliers and customers, with top managers and department heads comprising over 80% of the participants. Delegates exchanged contacts and discussed prospects for future cooperation.
At the conclusion of the business program, the next forum, titled "Oil and Gas Sovereignty," was announced and is scheduled to take place in January 2027.
